Kin:pathic is delighted to partner again with Amherst Parks & Recreation and Bright Ideas Preschool of Amherst to offer Camp K:P, summer fun for children ages 3-5yrs and 6-9 years.
These week-long camps will explore a variety of themed experiences. This year we are thrilled to be bringing back the very popular Budding Botanist camp, where naturalists can learn about plants, and Sugar Chef camp, where little ones get to put on their chef's hat and create some tasty treats! New to our camp themes this year we have added Experimentation Station for lovers of hands on science and Beat Boppers for preschoolers to enjoy dancing, playing and moving to live music!
For our 6-9 year olds we will offer a Fantastic Fitness week where we play some gym class favorites and explore both physical and mental health with some mindfulness exercises as well. Finally, our Crafty Creators week for ages 6-9 is just what it sounds like: a week of creating a variety of projects from friendship bracelets, to paintings, and more!

General Information Our day programs operate Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Campers should bring a full water bottle, snack, and lunch each day.
Preschoolers should bring at least one change of clothes; they are also welcome to bring comfort items as needed (e.g. stuffy). If your child is not potty trained, parents must supply sufficient diapers and wipes for the day (preschoolers only).
Camp K:P utilizes quickbooks for payments, following registration please keep an eye out for your invoice via email. Payment is due in full upon registration, via quickbooks.
Each camp is expertly facilitated by a dedicated Lead Counselor alongside Assistant Counselors. Oversight and supervision are maintained by our experienced Educational Consultant/Enrichment Coordinator. The camp curriculum has been designed by our Educational Consultant who has more than 10 years experience with child development and education. Rest assured, our camp staff are dedicated and enthusiastic about providing amazing summer experiences for our campers! All staff undergo background checks, First Aid/CPR certification, and comprehensive training with best practices and protocols in caring for children. Withdrawal/Refunds The registration fee per camp is $295, due at the time of registration. Should you wish to withdraw your child from the camp, notice must be provided 14 days prior to the start of that camp in order to receive a full refund. Withdrawal from the camp with less than 14 days notice will be eligible for a 50% refund. No shows and/or absences are not eligible for refunds.
Available Discounts Sibling Discounts: Camp K:P offers a 10% sibling discount to families who are enrolling multiple children from the same household. The first child enrolled will be charged the full registration fee. Any additional children enrolled will receive the 10% discount.
Military Discount: Camp K:P offers a 10% discount to all enrolled dependents of current or former members of the U.S. Military. Proof of current or past military service must be provided.
Early Bird Discount: 10% discount if registered no later than 2/29/24 Discounts may not be combined. One discount per camper, per camp.

Please note that these are not therapy camps, they are enrichment childcare/youth recreation programs. Our team will make every effort to accommodate your child’s needs, but ABA services are not provided.
