CYLVIA MASONI, M.Ed., BCBA
Kin:pathic cofounder Cylvia Masoni has a natural gift for working with children enhanced and honed through intensive research and over fifteen years of experience in early and primary special education, servicing children with various challenging behaviors. In addition to being a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, she holds a teaching certificate in California and New Hampshire, as well as a Master’s Degree in Autism and ABA from Endicott University.
Her work with children has ranged across different settings, including intensive behavioral classrooms, schools, clinics, and homes. While supervising a staff of specialists and serving as a preschool teacher at Kid Intensive Center in Los Angeles, she realized how vital it was to create an empathetic community support system for all those involved in nurturing the development of her students. Treat everyone like family became her motto. |
Cylvia's philosophy is grounded in the conviction that a community approach is most effective in fulfilling the family’s need for ABA directed support. She puts into practice this philosophy by emphasizing teamwork, family partnerships and the ability to collaborate very effectively when working with other service professionals.
Her greatest love outside of work and family is travel. She loves to discover, explore and experience new cultures. The travel can even be virtual and she regularly tries cooking new "ethnic" foods for her family and then watching a culinary travel documentary that takes them on a tour of the origins of the featured cuisine.
