BRIANNA McBEE M.S. Ed., BCBA, LABA
Kin:pathic Behavior Analyst, Brianna McBee believes that reinforcement and positive communication techniques are essential to her successful work with clients. She also emphasizes providing practical, real-life behavioral strategies to support parents during parent coaching.
Brianna began her teaching and ABA career working as a special education teacher assistant in an integrated preschool classroom for Lincoln Public Schools. While there, she collaborated with the special education teacher on the full range of academic, communication skills, and social/emotional learning involving children who had a variety of developmental disabilities. Brianna subsequently worked as a special education teacher in a social/emotional classroom, integrating the methods of ABA in her teaching. |
After a few years, Brianna decided to transition from special education into working as a Registered Behavior Technician in a clinical and home-based program. Across all environments, Brianna has utilized the principles of behavior analysis to implement behavioral and social strategies and teach academic, communication, life, parent engagement/collaboration, and social skills.
She graduated from University of Massachusetts-Lowell in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Psychology and a minor in Disability Studies, specializing in Developmental Disabilities. In 2014, Brianna went on to earn her first Master’s certificate in Behavioral Intervention in Autism. Brianna also earned her Master of Education in Special Education with the addition of a Master’s certificate in Behavioral Analysis and the completion of her BCBA coursework from Fitchburg State University in 2019.
In addition to her personal and professional growth, Brianna values family, friendship, nature, and (most importantly) her dogs. Her personal interests include yoga, hiking, reading (more Harry Potter books please), and relaxing in her backyard oasis together with her daughter and, of course, her dogs.
