For many technicians and families at kin:pathic, one thing stands out about Lynlee Boggs, Clinic Coordinator: she has a deep appreciation for what it takes to be in the room, 1:1, working directly with a child. That perspective — earned over more than 15 years in the field — shapes everything about how she leads.
For Lynlee, the work has always been about connection first.
A path that started with volunteering
Lynlee’s journey into ABA began with a decision in high school to volunteer in her mother’s classroom, where she had the opportunity to work with children. That experience sparked her interest almost immediately.
Watching children move from not being able to communicate at all to using PECS, an AAC device, or even their own voice for the first time changed the direction of her life. What started as a way to pass the time in high school became a 15-year career built on helping kids find their voice.
The moments that inspire her
Progress in ABA can take time. Lynlee describes weeks or even months of steady work before a breakthrough finally clicks and the patience and hard work get rewarded.
“When the light bulb goes off, it’s the best feeling,” she says. “It makes me work so hard, and I know that anything is possible. If you want something bad enough, it can happen — you just have to keep at it.”
Some of her most powerful memories come from watching nonverbal children communicate for the very first time.
“Those breakthroughs are incredibly powerful and inspiring.”
Finding a place that values people
Before joining kin:pathic, Lynlee interviewed with several agencies looking for a new place to call home. What set kin:pathic apart wasn’t a pitch — it was the process itself.
“I loved that I got to meet with several of the admin team face to face before being selected,” she shares. “To me it meant that they weren’t just hiring anyone. I felt they were putting the kids’ needs first, and that was very important to me.”
That instinct proved right. Within just six months, Lynlee was promoted to Coordinator — a role that lets her split her time between hands-on client work and helping the clinic run smoothly and safely.
“My promotion made me feel truly seen and valued,” she says. “I put my heart and soul into my work, and this opportunity has further motivated me to continue growing, supporting my team, and making a meaningful impact on the clinic.”
A message for families and future teammates
For the families kin:pathic serves, Lynlee wants one thing above all to come through clearly.
“I want them to feel cared for, respected, and happy to be around me,” she says. “I want them to know they can be themselves, but also that hard work, compassion, and dedication is my priority.”
And for anyone considering a career in ABA, her advice is honest about the demands of the work — and just as honest about the reward.
“It’s not an easy job. You have to bring energy, fun, and be able to think outside the box. But if you do choose this career, it is so fulfilling in ways you could never imagine.”
