A Santa Visit, the kin:pathic Way

Posted by:

This season, we were lucky enough to welcome a very special guest to our ABA therapy and learning center in Nashua, NH. Santa came to visit, and what made the day truly magical was not just the photos, but the way our children reacted to Santa and how they were supported and celebrated throughout the experience.

Every child, their own way

Each child was given extended, pressure free time to sit with Santa and engage in ways that felt right for them. This sensory-friendly Santa experience was thoughtfully designed to support children receiving ABA therapy and autism services. Some children jumped right in with smiles and excitement. Others took their time, played with Santa quietly, or connected in more subtle ways. There was no rush and no expectation to perform.

That space mattered, especially for children who benefit from sensory friendly environments and individualized supports. It allowed authentic moments to unfold, and those moments are what made the day so special.

For social media, we chose to share photos from behind, honoring privacy while still capturing the warmth of this sensory friendly Santa experience. For this blog, we are grateful to be able to share select photos with full marketing permission from families, highlighting the genuine joy and connection of the day.

Every step of this experience was grounded in respect for each child and family.
That is always at the heart of everything we do at kin:pathic.

Celebrating our staff

This day would not have been possible without our incredible ABA therapy team, including the staff who support our autism therapy and sensory friendly programming. From thoughtful planning to patient support in the moment, our staff showed up with compassion, flexibility, and care. They followed each child’s lead, created a calm and welcoming environment, and helped turn a simple visit into a meaningful experience.

We are endlessly grateful for the way our team supports our clients and one another.

A day full of love and connection

More than anything, this sensory friendly Santa visit was a reflection of our CARES method and how we approach ABA therapy and autism services.
Relationship over routine. Connection over expectation. Love over pressure.

We are so thankful to our families and to our staff for bringing this day to life, and to our kiddos for showing us, once again, how many beautiful ways there are to connect and for bringing some holiday magic to our Nashua Learning Center.

We hope these photos help you feel a little bit of that magic too. Happy Holidays!
